Anti-Cavitation Structural Upgrade Enables Yida Pumps to Operate Stably Under Low Liquid Level and Negative Pressure Global Working Conditions

Liquid supply tanks in waste liquid pools, underground collecting tanks and vacuum reaction systems often work under low liquid level or negative pressure states. When the pump inlet pressure is lower than the saturated vapor pressure of the medium, cavitation bubbles will form and rupture violently inside the pump cavity, continuously impacting and eroding impeller surfaces and pump walls. Cavitation damage gradually reduces pump efficiency and shortens the service life of core flow parts.

Yida enlarges the inlet flow channel area and adopts gradual contraction inlet structure to reduce local flow velocity and inlet pressure loss. The front edge of the impeller blade is modified into an anti-cavitation arc shape to delay the generation of cavitation bubbles under low-pressure environments. For working conditions with extremely low effective liquid level, optional anti-cavitation expansion inlet accessories can be configured according to customer demands. Cavitation simulation tests under various negative pressure environments are included in factory inspection items.
