Integrated Duty-standby Pump Set Solution Guarantees Non-stop Fluid Supply for Core Process Links of Global Critical Industrial Systems

Core production links in chemical plants, electronic material factories and large industrial wastewater stations have extremely high requirements on fluid supply continuity. Unexpected pump shutdown will cause reaction kettle overheating, electroplating liquid concentration imbalance or wastewater overflow, leading to product quality accidents or environmental safety incidents. Relying solely on manual switching of spare pumps cannot guarantee response speed when sudden failures occur.

The duty-standby dual pump set integrates two same-specification pumps on a shared integrated base, equipped with shared inlet and outlet manifolds and automatic control valve groups. The supporting electrical control system monitors the running status of the main operating pump in real time. Once abnormal signals such as flow drop, overcurrent or over-temperature are detected, the system automatically closes the outlet valve of the faulty pump, starts the standby pump and opens the corresponding valve to complete seamless switching. The whole switching process is finished automatically without manual on-site operation.

The dual pump set can be set to alternate operation mode as well, where two pumps take turns to bear the main operation load to avoid long-term continuous operation of a single pump and extend the overall service life of the equipment. The integrated pre-assembled set leaves the factory after unified debugging, and users only need to connect the main inlet and outlet pipelines on site, eliminating the workload of separate assembly and control system debugging.
