Sudden pump failures in continuous production lines will force the whole workshop to stop production, bringing huge hourly economic losses to industrial enterprises. Long-distance sea freight transportation of pumps from China mainland often requires several weeks of transportation cycle, which cannot satisfy urgent emergency replacement demands.
On the basis of domestic finished product inventory, Yida establishes cooperative stocking warehouses in core industrial gathering areas including Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Hot-selling standard models of magnetic pumps, self-priming pumps and vertical acid pumps are pre-stored in overseas warehouses. For emergency maintenance orders submitted by customers, goods can be directly delivered from local overseas warehouses instead of being shipped from the origin factory. Conventional bulk orders still adopt factory direct shipment to control comprehensive procurement costs.
The dual supply mode combining factory direct delivery and overseas warehouse quick delivery balances procurement cost and emergency response efficiency. It effectively reduces production downtime losses caused by sudden pump faults for global industrial customers and optimizes the overall supply chain response efficiency of Yida’s global pump business layout.
